There are two basic types
1.Idiopathic adolescent scoliosis (strong genetic inputs)
2.Functional or post-traumatic scoliosis

Both of these types are amenable to dynamic inputs and improvable ,if not curable.
This program, creates a series of symmetrising movement patterns, helping to reduce biomechanical bias, as a causative factor. In the first case, unequal closure of neurocentric growth plates,is thought to be the main driver behind the scoliosis. This tendency is believed to have strong genetic inputs. Genetics, however, only states a tendency, not a certainty.
I have been encouraged, by positve results, in a few cases, where dedicated application of a simple set of movements appears to have arrested the scoliosis tendency.
